Why Elections Matter

The Austell Business Association (ABA) thrives because of committed, visionary leaders who believe in collaboration, service, and community advancement. Each Board Member is dedicated respectful character, helps set direction, and is dedicated to represent our members’ interests in local civic and business development.

Available Positions

Below are all positions with short role descriptions for consideration:

President

Presides over meetings, sets vision, appoints committees.

(2 year term commitment)

Vice President

Assists the President and acts in their absence.

Secretary

Maintains records, minutes, and communications.

Treasurer

Manages financial reports and ABA accounts.

(2 year term commitment)

At-Large Directors

Chair standing committees and drive initiatives

Governance & Transparency Statement

In accordance with Article VI of the ABA By-Laws and Georgia nonprofit practice, this online nomination procedure is in compliance. The election procedure has been approved by the Board of Directors. All votes are confidential and will be verified against the current membership roster. Results will be announced publicly at the following ABA meeting.
